I believe that OUR STORIES have the power to change OUR WORLD!
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, to an engineer and a teacher. I moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona, where I graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Political Science, and minors in French and Chinese Studies. I have now made the exciting leap into education!
In my free time, I enjoy running, writing, spending time with family, doing puzzles, playing video games, listening to podcasts and doing the occasional storytelling or comedy show. I live with my partner and our cat, Gizmo.

I am trying to empower my students to be critical thinkers who are equipped with the multi-faceted literacy demanded by the 21st Century. My goal as an educator is to create an equitable learning environment where all students feel safe and excited to learn
about history.
